June 3 turned out to be a great day to kick off summer with a festival. After a week of mostly dreary skies, Sunday, June 3 promised to be hot, but summer festival goers were rewarded with shade and cooling breezes as they explored the booths, food trucks, bounce houses and petting zoo. Our DJ created a fun atmosphere with lively songs and neighbors took this opportunity to meet each other and our Greater Valley Glen Council Members. Thank you to Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian who stopped by to greet attendees, all our guests and volunteers! Rumor has it, this is our first annual summer festival, so we hope to see you next year!
