You may notice something a little different about your neighborhood. Valley Glen Community Park is currently closed to the public. During this temporary closure, the park will undergo major sustainability improvements to conserve water and update the park’s irrigation.
In partnership with the LADWP Recycled Water Division, the Dept. of Recreation and Parks will remove turf and install a new irrigation system. Additional improvements will include new California-friendly plant material, new decomposed granite paving, wood bark and mulch covering, re-seeded natural grass, and new landscape accent boulders.
