GVGC Creates Butterfly Garden
Check out our new butterfly garden in Valley Glen Community Park. We are excited to have worked with the Theodore Payne Foundation to plant natives that attract butterflies, creating a local butterfly habitat.

Neighbors Contribute to GVGC Food & Toy Drive
We collected about 50 toys that we delivered to LAFD for their Spark of Love Toy Drive and we collected over 500 food items that we delivered to the North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry. Thank you to our friends who came by with donations in about 30 cars!
New Watering Regulations
Valley Glen residents should be aware of a host of new watering regulations that are now in place in California to combat the drought. Violators could face fines of up to $500.

GVGC Opposes Redistricting Map Cutting Up Community
This matter is URGENT as the Commission is close to finalizing their recommended maps. We urge ALL residents and stakeholders of Greater Valley Glen to make their voices heard on this by emailing every Commissioner, submitting feedback on the comment form and attending the meetings via Zoom.
Speak Up On Redistricting
The current district plans cut Greater Valley Glen Council into three districts: 3, 6, and 2-or-4. To some, it does not appear that the Los Angeles City Council Redistricting Commission has considered Neighborhood Council boundaries in their process.
