GVGC partnered with LAPD Van Nuys Division Senior Lead Officer Mike Perez and Councilmember Paul Krekorian's office for a clean up on August 22 at Matilija and Kittridge. A small, but mighty contingent came out to clean up our community. Thank you to all who came.

West Nile Virus in Valley Glen
The Greater Los Angeles County Vector Control District (GLACVCD) has confirmed mosquito samples to test positive for West Nile virus (WNV) in Valley Glen, Van Nuys, North Hollywood, Valley Village, Studio City and Sherman Oaks! Please take steps to eliminate even the smallest amount of standing water and protect yourself.
Emergency Renters Assistance Subsidy Program
The application will be open for five (5) days, starting at 8 AM on July 13th, and closing at 11:59 PM on July 17, 2020. After the application deadline, all applications submitted by 11:59 PM July 17th will be included in the random selection process. The subsidy is anticipated to assist an estimated 50,000 Los Angeles households. It will provide a grant of up to $1,000 per month, with a maximum grant of $2,000 per household, and will be paid directly to the tenant’s landlord on behalf of the tenant.
