All students and staff have been evacuated and evening classes are cancelled at Los Angeles Valley College.
Students at Los Angeles Valley College are being evacuated as authorities investigate a series of threats to the campus.
As of 3 p.m., Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department investigators were fanning across the campus to investigate, said Cadet Johnathon Orellana.
An email went out to students and staff Wednesday afternoon, asking them to evacuate.
“LAVC have received several threats and are working with law enforcement to validate these threats. The campus is being evacuated,” the email read. “Please leave the campus immediately and calmly. This is not a drill.”
All afternoon and evening classes have been cancelled.
