NOTICE – Grant High School – Abatement & Demolition Activities
February 17 to July
Monday to Friday: 7 am to 9 pm, Saturdays 8 am to 6 pm (as needed)

As part of a $175 million Comprehensive Modernization Project at Grant High School, the abatement and demolition of various structures will take place. Prior to demolition, various assessments are required by the LAUSD Office of Environmental Health and Safety (OEHS) office and the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD). All hazardous materials found will be abated in accordance with standards of local and state agencies. All work areas will be properly fenced off and isolated for the safety of students, staff, and the public. Expect construction vehicle traffic, noise, dust and vibrations origination for work areas.
