From LAUSD: As a part of the $175 million Comprehensive Modernization project currently underway, we are scheduled to remove 19 trees during spring break. (Overall, a total of 48 existing trees will be removed, and 99 new trees will be planted. A new irrigation system will be installed for new trees. We will follow all state and local regulations.)
