The Department of City Planning Staff will be in attendance at the (10/12) Valley Alliance of Neighborhood Council Meeting to briefly present on the Processes and Procedures Ordinance. We hope you are able to attend. The meeting begins at 6:30 and the location is:

The proposed ordinance comprehensively reorganizes the administrative provisions of the Zoning Code. Currently, there are over 100 different processes, which are being proposed to be consolidated down to about 50. The draft ordinance would be the second major deliverable from re:code; the first was the R1 Variation Zones (new single family zones) that went into effect earlier this year. Please note that the public comment period for the draft ordinance is open until November 7, 2017. The ordinance is tentatively scheduled for the December 14th City Planning Comission meeting.
