Our annual Día de los Muertos celebration is back, and this year we’re going bigger than ever! Join us on Friday, Oct. 30, from 4:30 to 9 p.m., at the Van Nuys Civic Center, 14410 Sylvan St., for a special evening honoring the lives and memories of our loved ones who have passed.

Bring your family, friends and framed photographs of your loved ones as we come together to celebrate this beautiful tradition. Enjoy community altars, art, live music, food, candy for the kids and more! We’ll also feature our Catrina Contest, so come dressed in your best Catrina-inspired attire.

Plus, our partners at LAPD Van Nuys will host their Trunk or Treat celebration next door from 5 to 7:30 p.m., bringing even more family-friendly fun to the evening.
