SUMMARY:Community Clean Up
DESCRIPTION:Valley Glen Neighborhood Association Clean Team is cleaning this Saturday November 2nd. We will start at the Valley Glen Community Park \, near Delano and Ethel Street at the Butterfly Garden at the south end of the Park at 9AM. Then at 10AM we will move to the Laurel Grove Park on Erwin Street and Westpark next to the Hollywood Freeway to clean up from an encampment. DESCRIPTION:Join the Southeast Valley Community Plans Update (SEVCPU) team and City Planning’s Office of Historic Resources (OHR) on November 20\, 2024 at 6 p.m. for a workshop focused on historic preservation possibilities in the Southeast Valley! \nThe workshop will cover how the Zoning Code update provides opportunities for historic preservation\, the relationship between historic preservation and city and statewide legislation\, and most importantly\, a discussion about historic resources identified through SurveyLA\, the citywide historic resources survey\, in the Southeast Valley.
