We’re calling on 1,000 volunteers to help us make a difference in the Sepulveda Basin! Join us and Friends of the LA River on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. to noon, for a massive community cleanup and tree-planting event to restore and beautify one of the San Fernando Valley’s most treasured green spaces.

The Sepulveda Basin is an important place for recreation, wildlife and our environment, and keeping it clean and healthy takes all of us. Whether you’re a student looking to earn community service hours or a neighbor who wants to give back, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Meet us at Anthony C. Beilenson Park, 6300 Balboa Blvd., Van Nuys. The event will take place rain or shine, and community service certificates will be available.
