Sunday May 16, 2021 the Greater Valley Glen Council along with the Valley Glen Neighborhood Association, and Councilman Kerkorian’s office sponsored a neighborhood food drive for the North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry. Twenty-five of our neighbors donated about 10 boxes of food for the pantry that passes out food at the First Christian Church 4390 Colfax Ave. (Corner of Moorpark) Studio City, Ca. 91604.
To pick up food, enter from the Colfax side of the church parking lot only. Drive through to food distribution, no ID required. Open Monday and Friday between 7:30 to 11:00AM. The food is stored and sorted at the Temple Beth Hillel on Riverside by volunteers. Volunteers are needed to help receive the food, store it, and pass it out. If you would like to Volunteer you can contact them at their website nhifp.org. Donations of time, food, or money are greatly needed since everything is done without a budget, by volunteers.
