I was born and raised and educated in Winnipeg,Canada. While in middle school, i was a corporal in the Air Cadets and later served two years in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a 2nd Lieutentant. Graduated from the University of Manitoba as a Chartered Accountant and a year later moved to the Los Angeles and became a Certified Public Accountant.

As a CPA, worked in public practice and as a Controller in the garment and computer industry. I had my own public accounting firm for 20 years and retired in 2000.

After retirement, I volunteered with the American Red Cross and Los Angeles County Department of Consumer Affairs in excess of 10 years with each. With the American Red Cross I was a Disaster Assessment Team(DAT) Leader, Canteen Coordinator and Instructor for both local and national disasters. At the Los Angeles County Department of Consumer Affairs, I was a Telephone Consultant dealing with the public and addressing there concerns for Landlord/Tenant problems and a variety of the other issues.

I have lived in Valley Glen since 1965.

I am married to Barbara for over 50 years, have two sons, two daughters-in -law and 4 great grandchildren, 2 boys and 2 girls.
