you informed on the issues; provide updates on Council business;
and to represent you and the community's interests in city
government.
You are invited to get involved in the GVGC by attending
Council meetings; running for a Council seat; participating
in Council committees; communicating your opinions
or concerns on matters to your Council representative; voicing your opinion
at our community/town hall meetings on important issues;
or by simply signing up
for e-mail notifications.
Since the inception of the citywide Neighborhood Councils, you
as a stakeholder have a greater opportunity than ever to participate
in local government. By electing
representatives to your Neighborhood Council, you have formed a partnership
with us to bridge the gap in communicating our issues to "city hall" and
to advise them on decisions that affect us all.
Your Neighborhood Council's power is in your hands. Please join
us to make a difference in "Fostering all that is in the best interest of our Community".
